My name is Kristina, I also go by Tina. Love my full name. Habitually, use my nickname. And thus, forever a girl with two names. Call me what you will. 

Somedays I am a professional light-bulb hunter, other days a professional e-mailer. But for the most part I like to consider myself a professional story teller who specializes in art direction, creative direction and communications. Current role at UCLA: Creative Director, Development Communications. 

Light-bulb hunter: One who is in search of inspiration and ideas.  

I am a lifelong learner, and problem solver. "Where there's a will there's a way" kind of human. I have worn many hats throughout my career and taken on roles I had not a clue how to do…because…well, why not? A lot of hats, a lot of growing, but also a lot of weeds that were cleared out of the way to get to the good stuff. 

The good stuff: The work you love to do

From my wee days of elementary, I was weirdly into writing poetry and I was also really good at winning coloring contests. This of course, translated to many other similar passions as I grew up. In retrospect, this was very foretelling of my future. Words and art, both beautiful ways to express yourself, to tell stories and connect people. And when combined in perfect harmony, good stuff happens.

Human beings are story tellers. Stories connect people.
